In 2013, Bayer CropSciences, Syngenta and Valent U.S.A. LLC jointly commissioned a comprehensive evaluation of the economic and societal benefits of neonicotinoid insecticides to North American agriculture, as well trees, turf and landscape & production ornamentals.
AgInfomatics, LLC, an independent agricultural consulting firm established in 1995 by professors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Washington State University, conducted the research and published a series of reports and resource materials.
